RW Julian
The first fake is called a rouble but actually is a St. Petersburg 1727 poltina of Peter II: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...em=260296394913 The other pieces purports to be a rouble of Catherine I but is also a 1727 St. Petersburg poltina: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...em=260296372983 Both items are marked “authentic” but the seller undermines his claim by selling both pieces at the same time. They use the same reverse die and the portraits look very modern, not at all like something done in 1727. The 1757 96 kopecks offered by this seller (also “authentic”) is likely bad. Vfox
Fälschung, Falsch, Fälschungen, Fake. This guy sells nothing but. http://cgi.ebay.com/SILVER-RUSSIA-Ruble-17...id=p3911.c0.m14 Nearly everything this bastard has sold, even the positive feedbacks is a crappy counterfeit. I wish ebay would ban people like this because I am certain he has nothing but fraudulant BS. Every coin is a horrible knockoff and dozens of people...if not more...have been had. Report this SOB, I am. His negs: http://toolhaus.org/cgi-bin/negs?User=xhei...irn=Received+by

savok
Looks like he's no longer a registered member! Hopefully our intervention made a difference. The fact that he had 14 negative feedbacks in a single month probably played a large role...
Vfox
This makes me very happy. It is far and few between that a scammer such as this, especially outside the US gets his account terminated by eBay. Woot!
