Corina
Well this is one of my better buys, it's a 1907 Silver Japan 20 sen in fine condition, not a bad looking coin has sharp details still, has seen little use, i say fine cause of the spots on the front ,what caused them i have no clue they were already on the coin when i bought it besides the spots which aren't too bad it's a nice coin

thedeadpoint
To think that Japan was in the middle of a very important war when this piece was minted.
sturzny
To think that Japan was in the middle of a very important war when this piece was minted. Well, they weren't, actually - the war was over already. This piece is a 1907 (Meiji year 40). A 1904 piece would still have the dragon/pearl of wisdom design on the obverse which distinguished all the Meiji silver minors from 1860s until the end of the war. I thought it said 1904 in the post. I stand corrected. Thanks Sturzny!
