corkykile
One of many goodies found in a 5,000 count bag of wheat cents. Let me know if I have identified the strike properly. (If I have then a big Thank You to The Lost Dutchman!) corky sorry about the blurry obverse
Vfox
Looks like a die cap to me...? It's pretty hard to find a good error on these steel cents, excellent eyes corky!

LostDutchman
it is a weird one.... it looks like it has a chance... but something is weird to me... is their a way we can get a clearer picture of the obverse? Ill know for sure then...
corkykile
Thanks for checking in on this one Matt. I hope these two are clear enough. corky
LostDutchman
Those pictures are perfect....I still haven't figured this one out yet... Broadstrikes don't usually have that "step" like you can see in the last picture... it almost looks like it was in one of the good luck token encased cent horseshoe holders... something is just weird about it but I am about 80% that it is post mint damage... i just cant put my finger on it... ill keep mulling it over and see if i cant figure it out
thedeadpoint
Maybe someone tried fusing them together for the hell of it - like practicing for jewelry or submarines.
LostDutchman
the lines on the obverse area in question remind me of the lines on a vice...
