What if there is no Mint Mark?

The silver eagles are all produced at the West Point mint. The regular strike has no mint mark, and the proofs have the West Point mint mark. That goes for the dates 2001-2008.

Moneydog, that is not correct, proofs were minted in San Francisco (S-mintmark) from 1986-92, Philadelphia (P-mintmark) 1994-2000 and West Point (W-mintmark) from 2001-present. Also, I believe the business strikes with no mintmark were minted in Philadelphia from 1986-99 and in West Point from 2000-present.

I could, but none of those have mintmarks, my set of proofs however do have them. Oh yeah, there are also the odd coins like the 1995-W proof and the newer burnished uncs with mintmarks sold from 2006-present and of course the reverse proof of 2006...
