thedeadpoint
I dont have a reference coin or reference pics but that coin looks fake. But it's an... AU 58 fake. I'm probably far from right :-(
porthos
I don't think that the coin is fake! It looks like a Choice Extremely Fine (EF-45) Light overall wear shows on highest points. All design details are very sharp. Some of the mint luster is visible. Maybe (patina not clear) About Uncirculated (AU-50) - Has traces of light wear on many of the high points. At least half of the mint luster is still present.
thedeadpoint
I just don't like the mint mark. Something looks funny about it.

LostDutchman
i think the coin is real... nut the color is a little worrying... it has the dipped copper color to it from that picture.
moneydog
The coin is real with no doctoring. I give it an EF-48 worth around $109.

Uncle Charlie
I only know morgan dollars, but a wild guess is EF-45.
numismatistnick
I don't think anyone would take the time to fake a 31s since they are highly available in high grades. I think it is authentic and AU.
