jarod
Hi everyone, I'm not an expert, but I have a question regarding this Cameo Proof Bronze Coin. Do you know what is the value? It's an excellent condition, see attaced photo. Sorry, the image is a little that clear. Any help is appreciated. I'm also aware of the date on the back of the coin, March 4, 1829 Andrew Jackson Became President Themed Coin. Thank you, Jarod
moneydog
I looked through the 2008 Redbook and didn't see anything there on it. Maybe a shot of the other side would help out a little.
YeOldeCollector
I would imagine that it is a token of some sort.
LostDutchman
Hi Jarod! These type of tokens or medals were very popular in the US in a period from the late 1960's through the early 1980's. They were made by private mints like the franklin mint to be sold to collectors. Unfortunately these were made in mass quantities and don't have much value above their medal content usually.
