OMNICOIN

I was checking out the OmniCoins web site, and saw quite a few coins from the members of this forum. I decided to contribute, but I must confess that I did not do a particularly good job. None the less, here's what I posted so far:

Well, you start it with the 10 Grosh of 1823. Very nice. Rare coin. :ninja:

Thanks! Actually, the 1823 was just the latest coin I added ;) I'm not sure I'll put up my entire collection online. I am most impressed by Gxsereies and Tane, they posted 2524 and 1475 coins respectively. That is a lot of work!

It would be most interesting to see something from you Steve, and I'm sure quite a few members of this forum are hoarding a lot of good stuff. Any chances of seeing those treasures online?

The 1802 10 kopek is definately HARD to find! :ninja:

Probably the most impressive coin out of my collection is the 1730 double struck ruble and some other otherstrikes but otherwise boring I must say, compared to a few shocking coins that I've seen from members here. ;)

BTW this coin of yours is a scarce variety - wide crown on obverse:

Not really. Coinpeople was originally owned by Stujoe and omnicoin is owned by akdrv. Coinpeople was under major attack which akdrv took over under a brand new management. ;)

Oh, well, I learn something new everyday! :ninja:
