Hello everyone!

I have bought these two coins, 10 and and kopeks 1861 (Paris mint).

According to Bitkin there are two edge varieties: Edge with strokes and with dots

(See also Uzdenikov). Here are pictures of the coins:

10 kopeks:

10 and 20 kopeks (10 on the top):

The reason I ask is edges seem like dotted but according to Bitkin this variety is rare (R and R2)...

Have I found rarities or am I wrong?

Have a nice summer!

Janne

I have a similar uncertainty problem with my 20 kop 1861 Paris mint. Of course, it is most likely the common type but it would be very helpful (and educational) if someone could post an image showing the R3 type.
