altyn
I have recently bought an ordinary rouble (1899, ФЗ). However, what seems unusual about it is that the obverse axis and the reverse axis are not parallel. I know that some rouble coins of that year have a coaxiality like in US coins (at 180 degrees), but this is clearly not the case here with the angle between the axes being rather small (I guess about 20 degrees). I would appreciate knowing experts' opinions about this case.

I understand that this error was very common on early soviet coinage - 1920's and 30's.
