mauricecesar
Hello, one question regarding the one rouble 1900 Tzar Nikolay. I have never seen this coin, even on ebay. The other varities of the different years can be found -- 1895...1899 and 1901, but NOT 1900. Maybe someone knows the mintage of the 1 Rouble 1900 compared to the other years. Thanks
gxseries
You mean like this: http://www.molotok.ru/item334430685_rubl_1...g_serebro_.html and somewhere down the list http://www.rustypennies.com/catalog/imperial_coins.html It's not "RARE" as you might think. In fact, I think I remember seeing a worn 1900 ruble but didn't thought of buying it. Welcome to coinpeople by the way

RW Julian
the mintage of the 1 Rouble 1900 was 11484007 Unfortunately this is a fiscal mintage figure for the number of silver roubles struck from 1 October 1899 to 30 September 1900. The 1901 fiscal report of 2,608,021 also includes roubles dated 1900. RWJ

The 1901 fiscal report of 2,608,021 also includes roubles dated 1900. RWJ The 1900 rouble might be scarcer than is generally believed. In 1982, World Coin News published the results of a rouble study conducted by Bob Kovalchik, which kept track of roubles by date in auctions, at shows, seen in private and public collections and without any regard for coin condition. The data were collected for the periods 1965-70 and 1975-80 (periods of heightened coin market activity). He recorded 8 and 4 appearances of the 1900 rouble respectively for those periods (compared to 18 and 48 for the 1914 rouble).
IgorS
I always thought and still do that 1900 rouble is quite scarce in high grade.
