Trial Strike & Finished Medal Differences

This is the finished medal, struck in white metal, BHM# 1483

From the close-ups you can see the script style & placement is different. --------------------You can see where the surface has been repaired on the finished dies, from the strike.

 

The unfinished "E"s stand out & you can see where they had started to engrave the letters in a new position, closer to the rim.
