corkykile
Well this nickel has all the looks of a lamination error, but i just want other opinions on what it looks like Unfortunately I do not have any nickels with lamination errors for comparison. However I did check my Lincolns with similar lamination errors I noticed that each of them has a raised edge on one or both sides of the 'stripe'. Your nickel certainly appears to have the same error. It looks as if the coin is cracked and the metal is about to peel away. You know I am no expert on errors, so I would wait until someone who has professional knowledge about such things to give you the thumbs up on this. Hey, for what it is worth I think it is very nifty! Nice Find! Corky
