chappyjr81
Hey everyone, I have a question, my mother and I are sitting here going through all her coins and I encountered two quarters without a P or D mark on the back of the quarter. Is this common? Is it worth anything? I can get a picture of it later if anyone would like to see if I am retarded or not...lol...I am still new to the coin collecting, so any info would be appreciated. The dates are 1964 and 1954 Chad

satootoko
OK, so I have been looking more and more and I keep finding quaters without mint marks? What you don't know is that except for the WW II silver nickles, coins struck at Philadelphia didn't have mint marks until 1980.
