YeOldeCollector
Hello,Just a quick question. With China turning out fake George IIII coins how can one tell if its real or if was produced in China last week? I think LD would have noticed, and it is really hard to fake such authentic beauty on such a lovely coin. All the features are exactly how they should be, no blank spots or errors. I'm more concerned about fakes from Saudi at the moment, I say one of these: that read 1877 and was grey in colour and the seller was claiming that it was genuine... Talk about dumb crooks! Clive. LostDutchman
It will be going to NGC.... but im positive that its a genuine coin... That was a thought that crossed my mind when I first looked at it last month...but after some research I decided to go ahead with the purchase... De Orc
What a lovely looking coin , but I have to say it is getting a bit scary these days when buying as some of the damn fakes look so good.
roaddevil
I'm more concerned about fakes from Saudi at the moment Talk about dumb crooks eheheh xD finally something i agree with ... everyone down here knows that saudi's are the most "mentally challenged" people alive ... ever since they built that damn bridge from bahrain to saudi arabia we kept getten their export of drunks and that has caused 3/4 of bahrains car accidents since the 80's ...but mehh..... i can for a fact say that from what i witnessed during my 16 yrs on this earth that 1% out of 100 are "o.k" people..nothing against em realy ...but just as i said mentally challenged... due to the inter family marriage for centuries i guess :S ps :- not my view ...but 80% of the bahraini's down here ..... & sry for going off topic and do tell if the result comes back genuine or not and good luck

I'm confident that this £2 is genuine, congrats LD!
hiho
It will be going to NGC.... but im positive that its a genuine coin... That was a thought that crossed my mind when I first looked at it last month...but after some research I decided to go ahead with the purchase... NGC may reject it as "scratched" or "damaged". Still a gorgeous coin and definitely genuine.
LostDutchman
I would be surprised if they rejected it because of the one nick on the face....
