Scottishmoney
Shell Oil Company distributed these as premiums(promotions) in the late 1960's and early 1970's. You would get one of these per fillup in your car, they had a holder that these went in. I vaguely remember my mother getting a couple when I was very young. arneman
Thanks for the reply, on other forums they told me it was something about elections and parties distributed it as something to campaign with.

Actually I think no party now would want to claim Millard Fillmore, he was referred to as a milk-toast president, meaning he said nothing, did nothing, and was mushy. These things are so common in the USA, they often turn up in junk boxes etc.

Scottishmoney
Well since Shell is HQ'd in the UK and Netherlands, and surely has offices etc in Belgium I wouldn't be surprised.
