Scottishmoney
Yep, it appears by all means to be an authentic modern "tribute" to the original.

alexbq2
A different fake, this one is obvious: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...em=170185088403 But how about this one? http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...em=180205987686 Looks convincing to me, but there are opinions that this is a cast. I played with the image a bit to have a better look. Here's a link to the result: http://img232.imageshack.us/img232/2974/1755nd4.gif I'm not sure if it is real or not. It seems to have a granular-looking surface and some softness in the details. This might just be some porousness, but it might also be from casting
squirrel
It seems at least 2 bidders like it. $500+ and climbing If authentic, it goes in the crazy price book. Most of the fakes of this type coin are pretty bad. I dont see any obvious clues here.
gxseries
I have trouble believing that the 1755 kopek is genuine. It looks like it was cast off from a genuine overstruck 1755 kopek. The lack of details from the overstrike troubles me the most.
