Looks convincing to me, but there are opinions that this is a cast.

 

I played with the image a bit to have a better look. Here's a link to the result:

I'm not sure if it is real or not. It seems to have a granular-looking surface and some softness in the details. This might just be some porousness, but it might also be from casting

I have trouble believing that the 1755 kopek is genuine. It looks like it was cast off from a genuine overstruck 1755 kopek. The lack of details from the overstrike troubles me the most.

 

I think you're probably right, gx. Although it might be real, the overall appearance of the piece bothers me.
