Russian Coins from Germany

I have doubts about authenticity of all of the Russian coins this German dealer is selling right now. Is it just me, what do you think? http://search.ebay.com/_W0QQsassZworld-his...lected-in-coins

I don't like the looks of them, either -- perhaps the cheapest one might be real? :ninja:

This seller has had two other eBay IDs: sales-lora and 1950lora. Maybe someone has dealt with these names before?

MOstly fakes except for 1 kop 1755, and, I think, 1 or 2 other ugly copper coins. The other two ebay IDs also sell mostly fakes as genuine coins.

Maybe when he mentions "Photo is ORIGINAL", he implies that coin is not

I had some correspondence with this person, who claimed to be the widow of an

"expert" collector. All, or mostly so, of her coins were bad and maybe the "expert"

specialized in fakes. The other names mentioned by BobH were previous eBay

names for this person and, I assume, no longer used.

She also once listed her country as Israel (not a good omen if one is looking for genuine

coins) but noted that the coins were in Germany. I suspect that she is still in Israel.

All his 3 Siberian 10kop coins are offered with exactly the same picture of an edge. That edge looks good but it's probably not from any of his offered coins.
