This 50000 Lire note actually sparked a lawsuit by a woman claiming that her image was used on the note without her knowledge, but she later lost her case because she could never prove it was her. Scottishmoney
i think that is a renaissance portrait this. how old she is, 500 years? I am guessing(cringe, since I am not sure, and I am art fan) that the portrait is very classically set in the 16th century. The 1000 Lire is very clearly 16th century.
