gxseries
I'm not suprised. There were a lot more Romanov rubles minted in that year and such conditions are getting very difficult to find.

gxseries
Yes, please tell me after you try looking for another example. There are fair lot more Romanov rubles than 1913 non-Romanov rubles. Mintage of the Romanov rubles are over 1.5 million whereas only 22 thousand non-Romanov rubles were minted and there is no sign of knowing how many of these were melted down. But I think this one was bought at too high a price for the grade ... maybe with (B.C) on the edge, the price would be OK (E.B. is somewhat more common for these). But prices for Russian coins are crazy these days. It's hard to say what people will pay for something like this.
