With today’s ever-increasing prices I have no idea of the current value. RWJ

RW Julian
Bob, thanks for your reply. What do you think about this particular coin? The piece in question seems normal for the overstriking. RWJ

gxseries
To be more precise, I bought two examples about 3 years ago, unfortunately corroded but at 40 and 90 dollars (if I am not mistaken)
WCO
One of the world dealers had 4 or 5 pieces of 1793 overstrike on January NY show for $90-120 a piece. At the end of the show he still had it all. $120 coin was truly nice for overstrike with lots of details of undercoin visible including the date. On recent Baltimore show 2-3 days ago I saw couple of pieces priced at $200 or so. WCO
kisenish
Is the price about right? It's not by far. I would say this particular coin is worth 50 Euro at most. It is in a really low grade for this type.
