Bluesfil
The Royal Australian Mint has issued quitea number of Medallions in various metals This one is from 1966 and is dated with an issue of the 14th of February (the day decimal currency was introduced into Australia) and is quite a nice medallion. All the animals used on the coinage are displayed on one side of the medallion Silver Version of the 1966 Ram Medallion (number 171 on the edge) The reverse actually celebrates the Duke of Edinburgh opening the Canberra Mint in 1965 on the 22nd of February RAM Medallion 1965/66 RAM Medallion 1966/65 This also comes in a bronze version

Bluesfil
These medallions are getting hard to find in pristine condition - I'll dig a few more out and post them. I have some old pre decimal ones as well
