sbvenman
It looks wizzed to me. Maybe someone took a buffer on a drill and tried to clean it a bit. Still a great coin.
belg_jos
I had never seen this flying eagle for sale before (on a Belgium coinfair that is). So I bought the other 2 to get a better deal. I also noticed it was cleaned quite hard, but I really like the design of it. I was really surprised when I read the little text in the blackbook that this type was really unpopular. Imho it looks much better than the IHC's. Still it's a good piece for my 'learning to grade properly'-scheme

belg_jos
I have one. This one does look wizzed, but better detail than mine. It does look like it has been cleaned a bit too much to me too, but still, nice detail and again, I like the design. I saw one of these on a coinfair here Sunday, and he wasn't near this grade. http://www.coinpeople.com/Couple-of-educat...ay--t15509.html He's up for sale Jos

dave44_04
Its wizzed, but a nice Fine MS-15 maybe a bit higher. With just a bit more detail on the eagle it would be VF.
knowtracks
Terrible wizz job. Why would anyone do this to an other wise really great coin?
