Picked this beauty up yesterday - first coin I have owned with two numerals overdated. It is a british one and a half penny where the engraver has reversed the 43 (ie engraved 34) and then tried to fix it

It is a known variety in Spinks - it is in the classification 3915 Three halfpence- page 421 in the 2006 Spinks

The coin would be a good VF and according to Spinks was minted for colonial use.

The variety also exists in Proof which is extremely rare
