gxseries
Korean coins are currently very hot and there is a sharp rise of counterfeits coming from China. A few examples are: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...em=230112940327 http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...em=270106800007 http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...em=230113082493 Bear in mind that if it is original and in XF grade, one should expect to pay easily over 2000+USD. For a UNC, perhaps 4000USD and a proof set of 1892 set sold last year has hit 18,000USD. It just shows it's a rather pricy coin. Obviously a couple of hundred is just a joke. Now what is more worrying is these two: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...em=170104183036 http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...em=120111916088 Pictures do seem like they are genuine but what is suprising is that they have the same toning, scratches and such. Hmmmmmmm I wonder something is happening. What is more ironic is that both sellers don't have any transaction for the past few months. And they are both supposely located in California. Reported. Scottishmoney
The colours on the coins are not right for certain.
