Iluvforeignsets
Hi I have a coin or is it called a medal maybe of "Space shuttle challenger". It has the shuttle on it and written January 28th 1986. On the other side "In memory of seven great Americans" .999 silver. It comes in a coin flip and appears proof-like to my rookie eye, I don't see a single defect or scratch but the coin can be removed from the flip. I want to trade it and would like to know the rough value. Thanks a lot Patrick
gxseries
Maybe it's an ounce of silver so therefore about 14USD? Welcome to coinpeople by the way

So in general a silver coin written .999 is worth at least $14? I have a very thick 1991 Canadian 5 dollars .9999, proof in mint issued package, so I can safely say it is at least worth US $14 ? This one I keep. Thanks a lot Patrick

Thanks a lot Patrick Just because it is 0.999 silver does not mean it is worth $14. That's assuming the coin is just a bullion piece and one ounce of silver. Smaller or larger coins will be worth less or more.
