Johnny 1989
Latest purchase, I really love this style of note so I have posted both sites of it on here It's really large and suprisingly this style was still issued as late as 1982
Scottishmoney
It's really large and suprisingly this style was still issued as late as 1982 It had been used on the 1938 George VI notes, they must have printed quite a few of them, because in the £1 denomination they did not issue the QEII's until 1967. At one time I had a reasonably good collection of earlier Falklands notes, they were unique and I wish I still had them.

I thought they had a touch of George V/George VI to them, remind me a bit of the Treasury notes of George V
