Dockwalliper
Any member in the great white north willing to supply a few of the New coins? Curling came out last week and Hockey is the coin for April.
ccg
I'll do some in a giveaway if I can get some. I went to my bank on Saturday (day after release), and they said that the two boxes they got were long gone.

Topher
I've barely seen the 2006 Bravery quarters out yet, let alone the new ones. Guess it's time to hit up my local bank again. Last time I managed to score a couple of silver dimes in just one roll.
ccg
You snooze we loose. I've got school. Unlike work, there are no sick days I don't understand why they'd only get to boxes when they'll exchange two rolls to each customers that request them - it's not a lot, really. If I call in sick not only do I not get paid but I have to have a doctors note and if I miss 2 days in a row I need to take a drug test before Im allowed to return to work. Almost everyone I know who works can take an unpaid sick day as long as it only happens 2-3 times a year and phone in. (otherwise a note would be required) I must say that it's good to have strict policies to avoid abuse, especially in larger organizations.

Dockwalliper
that's horrendous! you must truly love your jobs to put up with this sort of thing. The local economy has been in the dumper since the 70s. Unless you want to work in a call center for $10 an hour there are no jobs. I get good pay and great bennies and I haven't taken a day off in years.
timotay01
Apparently there are colorized ones too, I just got one using my petro points at petro canada (regularly $8). I wonder the mintage of them? http://www.petrocanada.ca

henare
olympic coins confuse me. i think that the whole idea is kinda cool, but then it starts to feel like the series will never ever end and the prices feel particularly jacked up because they know non-numismatists will buy in without knowing the value of the issues ... plus, the rcm is already pretty prolific. Topher
I picked up a roll yesterday, and already gave a few out. (One to each kid, one for my father, and one for a guy I trade with in India). I gotta say, tthey are UGLY. They look like Casino tokens, not coins. Anyhow, I'll keep going until I have the set though. My local RCM was quite happy to sell me a roll even though I don't bank with them.
