akdrv
The Royal Canadian Mint unveiled the designs for a set of coins last month that will commemorate the Vancouver/Whistler 2010 Olympics. There will be 17 coins released in all, including two "Lucky Loonie" designs. The first of those coins will be released in Lethbridge, Alta., on Wednesday as competitors at the 2007 Scotties Tournament of Hearts battle for the Canadian women's curling championship. http://www.winnipegfreepress.com/sports/ot...p-4494951c.html

Burks
Those women curlers are more fun to watch than the NBA or NHL. Such drama over a big rock slowly scooting across the ice. The (I think) Iceland team was awesome to watch. They could easily beat me up.
thedeadpoint
So, last year during the Winter Olympics (the best programming TV has on at any given point during any 4 year period), guys here at school (including me) either before going to bed would either catch the beginning of US Women's curling at 4am and stay up all night long watching them, OR we would willingly get up early to watch them. They aren't amazingly hot or gorgeous but they are cute and very easy on the eyes compared to many of the other athletes out there.
