akdrv
Just like film director Alfred Hitchcock, UW-Oshkosh art professor Richard Masters said he ascribes to the less is more theory in artistic endeavors. He certainly did when he designed a commemorative coin marking the 50th anniversary of the desegregation of Little Rock Central High School. Masters is one of 11 master designers for the U.S. Mint Artistic Infusion Program. The silver dollar coin Masters designed will go on sale in the spring. It is the second Masters design selected for coins created by the US Mint. He also designed Nebraska's new Chimney Rock quarters that were minted last spring, according to a news release from UW-O. http://www.thenorthwestern.com/apps/pbcs.d...80/1128/OSHnews
