cpa49707
I'm going thru some Morgans that I have and trying to assess what the values are. On the price sheet that I found on the net it has certain designations that I dont understand. They list all the different mints and for each mint they have two additional desigantions. THey are PL and DM. I understand the mints are CC Carson City, S San Fancisco, and O New Orleans. At first i thought they may indicate the Phildelphia mint and the Denver Mint but that didn't make sense. Any help would be appreciated, Thanks, Terry
Dockwalliper
DMPL: abbreviation for Deep Mirror Prooflike (used by PCGS). They shorten it to DM for DMPL and use just PL if the coin shows only Proof like surfaces without the Deep Mirror look.
