With four concentric circles representing the Iron Age, 18th century industrial development, silicon chip and internet. Edge: STANDING ON THE SHOULDERS OF GIANTS. 2004 Commemorative Issue. Commemorating 200 years of the Invention Industry Progress, and honoring the Cornish inventor Richard Trevithick, 1804-2004. Bimetalic. Depicting Trevithick's 1804 engine, 25 years before George Stephenson's Rocket. (Both coins in my collection of decimals, circulation finds).
