Mila_cent
When I had my last ramdom winner contest I assigned a number to each poster and put it in a bowl it was too time consuming. So when posting a contest and the winner is a 'random' pick. Do you assign numbers to each poster and put them in a bowl/hat to pick winner? or is there a program that ramdomly selects the winner? What program? where can I find one? Just curious. Thanks.
akdrv
This online service generates a random number within a given range: http://www.random.org/nform.html I use it for my giveaways. There is also a very cool virtual coin flip on that site: http://www.random.org/flip.html
Art
I assign a letter to each poster. Then I take the letters from my Scrabble game and put them in a bag. I usually find Fran and have her pick one. If she's busy, I get Rocky to pick one. Works for me. (OK, it's not very automated but I don't care.) Mila_cent
Thanks guys, I found this little thingy for random picking. it doesn't install as a regular software program. With it's own ico or anything. The image shown is the exact size. Whenever I want to use this I have to click this for it to show up -------->>>
