jlueke Posted December 31, 2006 Report Share Posted December 31, 2006 Stacks usually has average material for ancient and world auctions but the one they have on Jan 15th really has some cool stuff and is worth checking out if you are into world coins and medals. There's a lot of Goetz medals and even some dies. A nice set of Schuetzenfest thalers, a lot of nice world gold and a overall pretty variety. These are a couple of collections they are selling rather than the scraps that sometimes end up in the Coin Galleries side of the house.
