Damiano
Hello, after viewing the wonderful collection of Elverno, I decided to begin a collection of Napoleonic medals. While I'm waiting to receive the shipping of some "authentic" medals, here is my first medal: an official issue by Republic of San Marino for the bicentenary of Napoleon's birth. It remembers the meeting between Napoleon and Antonio Onofri (Captain Regent of San Marino) in 1797. Mm 60,1, grams 88,

elverno
Wow! Where did you get it? Looks like something I need to add to my "modern" collection.

Damiano
Wow! Where did you get it? Looks like something I need to add to my "modern" collection. I've purchased it by a coins dealer of mine. But there is one example on sale on eBay: http://cgi.ebay.it/NAPOLEON-Ier-Sans-prix-...1QQcmdZViewItem.
