A well struck quality piece of copper is just amazing to me. Silver is very, very close though.

 

The rest are just kind of "eh" for me. Not a big fan of gold or platinum.

This question actually got me thinking a bit and I went back and forth on opinion but in the end I'll say pure silver (though all the "white" metals are nice to a degree)

Silver's got it all. Looks great all the way from frosty white to dark toned. Its got intrinsic value. And it even sounds great when you (oops) drop it.

Almost. Copper-nickel is an alloy of those two metals, e.g. Cu750 Ni 250. German silver/Neusilber/Argentan contains zinc; many GDR coins, for example, have Cu620 Zn200 Ni180.
