roaddevil Posted November 22, 2006 Report Share Posted November 22, 2006 A special coin worth five pounds sterling (nine dollars) to mark the 60th wedding anniversary of Britain's Queen Elizabeth II and the Duke of Edinburgh in 2007 was launched Tuesday. It features a portrait of the couple on one side and the north rose window of Westminster Abbey - where they were married - on the other. Half a million of the diamond wedding anniversary coin folders are available priced at 9.95 pounds. The Queen, aged 80, and Prince Philip, 85, were married on November 20, 1947.
