Michael
Hi, all In my hands felt something, that i recognised like one of US trade tokens But exonumia isn't my specialisation. Can anyone help to recognise this token? Thanks a lot, Michael
Mark Stilson
I would suggest trying to match up the J.L. with local stores. I did a quick google, but no luck you might plug in a state or town and have better luck.
ccg
To add to Mark's comments, you may wish to try to find a book that covers tokens for your state. It is possible that the token may just be a "maverick" that has yet to be attributed.
Ian
Hi, all In my hands felt something, that i recognised like one of US trade tokens But exonumia isn't my specialisation. Can anyone help to recognise this token? Thanks a lot, Michael I personally don't have a clue as to its particular origin. If no-one here can help I suggest that you visit the usenet group rec.collecting.coins. There's a gentleman who frequents that group by the name of Ken Barr who seems to be very up to speed on such items. You can always try asking him. Bear in mind that usenet does not support binary images though. If you do post to rec.collecting.coins try to provide a link to a webpage hosting your token. You'll just get people upset if you try to post an image as an attachment. Mind you, you could always provide a link to this thread. Ian
