Brass token corrosion

Recommended Posts

I got these tokens in a zip lock bag from an antique store in Lincoln City Oregon. They weren't much and probably aren't worth much, they appear to be presidential tokens and state tokens. With facts about each state and president.

Here's a pic of one. THey aren't the Shell Gasoline Tokens they used to give out, but they are kind of neat.

Problem? Blue corrosion. HOw do I get rid of it, undoubtedly some of the tokens are ruined, but I'd like to save some of them without them looking excessively cleaned.

A home brewed solution would be ideal. Thanks.
