tbone77
Hello, I have discovered that I have a 1972 S (40% Silver) blue IKE that is a "Peg Leg". I have been looking around to see if this is a common variety and its value. Does anyone know if this is rare and what the value is? I have seen a 1971 S MS-64 Peg Leg IKE dollar selling from $250.00 to $400.00. Thanks.
Burks
I've looked and looked but can't find any information on the 72-S variety. A gem 71-S will run about $300 it seems. Let me dig a little more and see what I can find.
Mark Stilson
Looking at mine that may be the norm. for that year. I believe the bottom of the r was removed toward the end of mintage on the Ike's in 1971 then left off.
