mrsbernie
I have come across a coin from 1897. On the obverse(?) it has four heads. The writing on this side reads, "FOUR GENERATIONS OF THE BRITISH ROYAL FAMILY". The reverse side depicts a crown and 3 crests. The writing on this side reads, "TO COMMEMORATE THE 60TH YEAR OF HER MAJESTY'S REIGN". Can anyone give me any information on this coin? I thank you in advance. Peter
No one has replied !!!! Basically it is a mass produced diamond jubilee coin. They were issued in various metals. In perfect condition it might raise a few £ but they are not really collectable.
