Tough choice. I think the photograph portrays the crown better than the noble. In person, I'd probably vote the other way.

Even though I wouldn't say no to a noble if one happened my way i'm not particularly convinced by its `heraldic' content . The humble CuNi 1953 crown is more in keeping with the category to my mind.

I have to agree with that sentiment actually Jim.

 

I used to be really taken with gold, but it's waned alot lately. Don't get me wrong i still like gold, but silver definately has the edge. I think it might have something to do with popular culture, silver is a tad classy, understatments generally are, whereas gold in excess has a quality about it that can make it look really cheap and tacky, plus it's association with chavs doesn't really help.
