Modern commemoratives are technically superb productions owing to today's technology. For that reason, they need something that distinguishes them comparable to the raw texture and power of that Norse medal. One thick and one thin .....however, I also love the detail that has been obtained through modern technology and die cutting on Tiff's coin, so i voted for that..
