Mintage: 5 000 pcs Placed in circulation on December 30, 2005. Designer: S.V.Nekrasova (Belarus). Minted by: Republican State Enterprise “Kazakhstan Mint”. The coins are round. The rim is raised on both sides of the coin. The edge of the coin is corrugated. The edge of the coins bears inscription «ЗАКАЗНІКІ БЕЛАРУСІ * АЛЬМАНСКІЯ БАЛОТЫ» (BELARUSIAN NATURE RESERVES * THE BOGS OF ALMANY). The obverse: at the background of ornamental canvas there are: at the top – the relief of the State Coat of Arms of the Republic of Belarus and inscription "РЭСПУБЛIКА БЕЛАРУСЬ" (REPUBLIC OF BELARUS); in the center – image of a blooming plant; at the bottom – inscription “РАСІЦА ПРАМЕЖКАВАЯ” (OBLONG-LEAVED SUNDEW); year of issue, face value «20 РУБЛЁЎ» (20 ROUBLES) - on silver coin and «1 РУБЕЛЬ» (1 ROUBLE) - on copper-nickel coin. The reverse: in the center - the relief effigy of a flying owl; at the top - the effigy of a fragment of Belarusian ornament, denotative life symbol; in the right-hand part – a fragment of a stylized landscape of The Bogs of Almany; at the bottom - inscription «БАРАДАТАЯ КУГАКАЎКА» (GREAT GREY OWL).
