most look like nicks and scratches,on the last photo the farthest left 3 arrows are where the coin was struck through grease that had hardened on the die. i Cant enlarge the picture to see the arrows on yhe right ,may be a strike through also

Are there any pictures? The circular scratch sounds like damage from a coin rolling machine.
