  12. Very interesting notes Dave. I like the family scene in the red circle.
  13. Great notes and a fun collecting theme.
  14. Just picked this up on ebay. It hasn't arrived yet so I'll update the images with my own when it does. US Series 661 10cent front by UGotaHaveArt, on Flickr US Series 661 10cent back by UGotaHaveArt, on Flickr
  15. I think the postal service should do away with the junk mail rates or at least raise them substantially. That would quickly overcome any cash shortfalls they might have. More nice coins. Keep them coming.
  16. Nice finds. That 5-spot is super.
  17. Great 1/2 penny tokens. I especially like the Irish 1/2.
  18. More nice coins Vern. Ditto on the rose question.
  19. Congratulations on the fine wins. The medals are beautiful. I'd not seen them before that I can recall. The exhibits are one of my favorite parts of a show. I spend more time there than on the sales floor, generally speaking that is.
  20. Very nice Bill. I like the set on flickr it does make it easy to view them all. Added anything lately. I certainly haven't. The prices have risen quite a bit and especially the two and three medal sets with the silver in them. I can't even imagine what the rare sets with the gold medals are worth these days.
  21. Beautiful collection Bill. How many of the Pond items do you have in your collection?
  22. I've procrastinated on this long enough. As I recall there were a number of machines that looked something like slot machines. The cent was already encased in an aluminum ring but you could put your name around the cent on the aluminum. You entered the letters and the machine stamped it into the ring. Don't remember how many you could get. If I can find mine I'll post a picture.
