I just ordered the 2006 Standard Catalog of World Paper Money...... Couple of years old, but in brand new shape..... Got it for 15 bucks from Ebay.....
Just got these in today.....
North Korea 50 Won, P-21, dated 1978
Vietnam 2000 Dong, P107
Peru 5 Soles de Oro, P-99c, 1974
Nagorna Karabakh 10 Dram
Yemen 100 Rial, P-28
Yemen 50 Rial, P-27
All notes are UNC.....
I just got the new polymer Antarctican notes in....
Two $1 bills (one commemorative, other not)
One $2 bill (non-Commemorative)
Two $3 bills (one Commemorative, other not)
these things are some of the best polymer notes I have. Very nice designs, and the are somewhat large in size.
I also got a Vietnamese 10,000 Dong note (polymer issue).... Another very nice note.....
I managed to pay face value for the Antarctican notes by buying direct from the Antarctican Overseas Exchange Office rather than pay inflated prices from Ebay....
the plane is small and on the right side of the note..... lol......

you can check out the ad there......
I just saw an ad on Craigslist for a US 20 dollar bill that has an airplane on the reverse. The plane is on the right side of the reverse.... The guy is looking for information on it, rather than trying to sell it.....
Does anyone here know anything about it so I might be able to pass info along to him.... His post says that the plane looks like it was put on at the time the bill was printed......
Grant- Im just looking for one of each of those Slovenian notes. How much do you want for them??? And would you be willing to sell one of the 100 denomination Surinam notes? (dont remember the name of their currency at the moment) lol......

I just picked up my first coin book. The Official Blackbook Price Guide to World Coins, 2007......
Just got home from picking it up..... now to start looking through it.....
I like both coins and banknotes from all over the world. The areas that I am collecting in now are bimetallic coins and polymer banknotes.
Usually, when I buy coins or banknotes, I dont worry about the country that they are from, I just go with what I think looks nice....
I have a coin from France that dates back to 1921. In the front, it has "Commerce Industrie" written as well as the date. Center has a man sitting holding what looks like a medical insignia. (2 snakes intertwined around a pole)
Reverse side of coin has "Chamberes De Commerce De France" written around the outside edge, with "Bon Pour 1 Franc in the middle.
Does anyone have any info on this coin? Im not so concerened with its worth, just some insight into its history.
Thanks in advance....
