  3. thanx i need all the help i can get i wish i wasnt in such a secluded area i have about decided im going to hafta make a trip to the city for appraisal. i think they are pretty high grade but am still unsure i figure if nothing else this find has gotten me into a new hobbie i did try a scan i dont think it is near as good as the pics in my gallery and they arent even close to as bright as the real thing so i guess i'll keep at it.
  4. my late 1800 and early 1900 silver dollars most have the details there like the eagle breast feathers and the hair on lady liberty they also are silver in color and shiny i think thats the luster they talk about so with this considered are they are of a high quality right? also are there any that are rare or harder to find? i was told the 1921 s was rare but since i have found this site i have found that is not the case so im not sure... also i was looking at some of the prices on ebay are they usually accurate ? sorry i know this is alot, i promise to try and learn quick

  6. thank you all for the welcome ! i have started uploading some images of the coins and posted in the us coin place ummmmmmmmm while im here another silly question what's the best way to take the pictures the light keeps reflecting on the coins ?
  7. ok so this is a high grade coin? im so clueless i have coins of all values and a whole box of morgan dollars. all are in good shape i think ? i can see the hair details and feather details on most of them clearly and also the minting place stamp thingy. they run from 1882-1922 i have some 1921's some1 said they are rare im not sure (of course) any help is appreciated !
  8. ok excuse my stupidity please cause im new at this, i have several morgans but none have colors like these is there a reason why mine are all shiny white looking?

  10. we bought a old building and in the process of the remodel i found a box of old coins they start with like a 1882 silver dollar and run all the way thru some buffalo nickles and tax exemt coins my biggest problem now is that i have no idea how to decide what grade it is to estimate the value of them any suggestions?
