  1. TERTVS error Halfpenny 1699, ex rare key date of the George III farthings overstruck 1790/9 another overstrike
  2. some rare copper only another 1 of these is known hard to say, books say only 4 of these known by the books (F:D rather then F:D:) to be safe I shall say under 10.
  3. really? never seen that feature before.
  4. Like you have sports teams in a league table basically.
  5. championship gives me an idea for new formats, coins go against each other winners get points, best score wins .
  6. that is a nice Edward one, not seen one that late. got this one at scrap
  7. that 1878 looks interesting, what is going on with the first 8?
  8. ahh yes even smaller? this 1 denier is tiny Henry VII halfpenny by this time the silver coinage was getting smaller some smaller bronze as well
  9. I love those Art Nouveau French pieces, they never get votes in PCI though i love eye catchers not perfect grade, but a good bit of wear brings out the colour better sometimes.
  10. i do like age, and a bit of wear because who knows who held them.
  11. £10.50 for this, 1978 S cameo proof, reverse die is slightly off where it should be, like the picture shows. but the slab says MS69, even though there there is something going on on the die.
  12. low and reasonable, I don't usualy pay a lot unless it is something special, or its a nice design so have to pay more to get it at the best. few more bits i forgot to list £10.38, bit more then I wanted to pay, but I wanted this as it is a superb designed token halfpenny with the aformentioned desireable grade. £4.44, has a slight shine so probably never actualy seen circulation, reverse is a slight let down though, that is probably mint based damage, and 1664. got these 2 from silver scrap for £9 superb find this, been after a William IIII Halfcrown for a good while, with silver prices down from recent values, finding one with the minimum grade (good clear shield readable legend for the most part) was fantastic for me, and as an added bonus, its actually the 6 over 5 variety. and a nice engraved piece, not an area i collect, but an area some people do, so well worth saving. £6.71 in a bulk lot of 12, few others spotted it and put the price up, but not willing to put out on the price due to the picture being of all 12 and therfore not fully clear, higher grade 1895-99 always cost that little bit more then the 00, and 01's so to pick this up for a bit less then the 1901 same grade price with a few other worn bits is nice. £8 another beautiful design coin i have been after for a good while. usualy go on Ebay for over a tenner, it isn't rare so wasn't willing to pay that much for it. and some bits of Maundy. £4.80 1679, when i looked at the date there is a scratch in the gap between the loop and tail of the 9 which you can see there, so hard to say if an overdate or not. its a 3D £9.57 for the 3 below 1679 Maundy 4D 1680/9 Maundy 2D, what I bought this lot for, wasn't that clear in the photo on ebay you could see the line in the inner loop but not the clinching bit just sticking outside. and a 1683 3D number of C's in the middle is how much it is
  13. nothing to say about those? what about these £8 £8 £4, open D type £3.32... cheap for a holed william, let alone a chester
  14. I heard there was possibly another floating around. on that particular site but couldn't find it. that was something i needed to confirm a few things (date mainly) about this one, need to look at the obverse of that one. I knew there would be more of them, they didn't mint just one, its all about survival. and it matches perfectly still a stupidly rare piece.
  15. always going for Age, Uniqueness and a coin very decent grade for its age, and the golden rule, I would want it myself if I didn't have it. although there is no actual "value" as it isn't listed anywhere, so.
  16. if anything is going to beat that medal, a small piece of pottery can
  17. they are both beaded, the toothed ones look differant, a quick google and you can see one, the trident is pointing at a differant spot
