thanks, would never have found it by the looks of the designs of the period, wasn't expecting quite that old.

i know it is of an early style pre 1650's but can't find anything with that design.

yea, my other thread dissapeared so. todays purchases first, then maybe some of my earlier better uys from the past year or so. £8 the 2 £2 £1. shame about the bend it has £1. india native states, no idea about it.

earliest i found was a 1968 D cent when in hawaii last year got those on Friday in the same bunch of change, commonwealth games ones are low mintage scottish design is most common at 771k

you know more then i do, so explain how you got to that conclusion for your guesses. because I thought the 2 Durhams were differant Monarches and the york penny was Henry IV.i did get the scottish one correct, but wasn't 100% and now i have narrowed that down, thanks.

looks like someones rainy day money from 1859 perhaps very nice 1858 penny there, you would have to check the date as there are many overdates in that year

far later then that, the mintmark is war of the roses

the halfpenny was a fiver, an ebay buy of all things >.> part of a bulk lot with all coins shown

you know, when you get lucky found in my dealers massive load of pennies he used to have got it for peanuts (or mere 10 pence) Satin lists it as XXR (Less than 20) - it is a satin 19 Gouby (BP 1860 T) rates it as R8 (11-50) the key thing here is the mising : after D 1699 TERTVS error - probably not as rare as the above, but listed in books as Extremely rare

got this for 2 lev in bulgaria (thats about 70-80 pence) never seen anything like it

got these in Bulgaria, prices for coins there have gone WAY up, these were cheap is some red copper colour on the sides in spots any date for this? got this for a mere 2 lev (about 1 euro)

i got a couple of those 17th century tokens. i do collect farthings though, but not really aimed in that area.
