  1. I am trying to build up my collection,<<snip>>. I started collecting two years ago when I got a job at the bank as a teller to help put me through college so I looked through a lot of coins during that time. It isn't as easy finding them anymore since I am not constantly in contact with large amounts of coin. So again, let me know if you'd be interested! Thank you, Chase
  2. Hi everyone, I'm new to the forum because this Quarter has really been bugging me from not being able to figure out what it is. It is a 1999-D Georgia Quarter weighing in at 5.00 grams. According to the website- (http://www.statequarterguide.com/1999-georgia-state-quarter/), this quarter weighs 5.67 grams while Jefferson Nickels weigh in at 5 grams. So with that being said, I definitely thought it was the quarter struck on the nickel planchet. But when I look closer at the coin, it looks like there is the normal copper ring on the bottom that quarters have. I will include pictures so you guys know what I am talking about. Any information on what this coin could be would be greatly appreciated. Is it common? Is it worth anything? etc. Thank you in advance, Chase
